white natures

After months of looking at the ground, I feel the need to observe the sky, to remove much darkness and black, and to seek ever more light, filling my images with white.
On a cloudy, blustery day the perfect white arrives without any need for contrivance (I don’t like virtuoso displays or manipulation): I simply observe the sky with a few traces of plant life in motion between us.
I’ve often thought of working with clouds, I watch them for long stretches of time, I still don’t know how to capture them, but that very white sky with wind close to the ground was complete, full and extremely beautiful. The wind was so strong that it had filled the whole sky with white, and I kept on looking at it and playing with the sparse vegetation, until I had almost completely eliminated it.
I will wait again for that white, other whites, and other photographs.
